I am thankful for the life I share with my wife and our three boys in southern California. Here I was born and raised. We live in Long Beach. I am the senior pastor at Bethel Grace Baptist Church in Bellflower. My greatest passion and joy is to encourage others with the truths of the Bible. I am happy to do that in spoken and written form.
I was born in 73. I love surfing. I’ve been riding waves since 10 years of age. I am a fan of the LA Lakers, LA Angels, and LA Rams. I devour See’s Bordeaux and many other forms of chocolate. I love coffee, scripture and quiet time with the Lord at sunrise. After that, I cherish reading Scripture and praying with my family to begin the day. In addition to the Bible, I enjoy reading meaningful novels, biography, and theology.
I am a Californian, and my wife Kristy and I agree tacos are our staple food. We enjoy smoked meats. We love playing sports with our kids and taking bike rides together. There is more, but that’s just a bit about me.
First and foremost, I want to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ taking others alongside me. I want to pursue healthy living spiritually, relationally and physically. This blog will be a mixed bag sharing about all three of those areas. I hope my thoughts on these topics will be helpful to you.
